Stella Maris treated Calibrachoa, cv. Superbells Dreamsicle/Superbells Frost Fire, grown in a greenhouse had on average 6.5% more leaves/plant, a 7.9% bigger leaf area, 7% more plant dry weight, were 5% taller and had 179% more flavonols and 9.2% more phenolics in their leaf extract what significantly increased the antifungal and antibacterial activity as compared to the untreated control. Soil drench application of Stella Maris gave better results as compared to the foliar application and a higher dose had also better results. Soil drench with 7 mL/L solution gave the best results.
