Stimple treated Pepper plants, cv. Thai Hot, grown in optimal conditions had a bigger stem diameter (+24%), were taller (+36%), had more leaves (+11%) with a bigger leaf area (+48%), had more flowers (+13%), more chlorophyll (+14%), more shoot fresh (+30%) and more shoot dry weight (+16%) and more root fresh weight (+28%) compared to the untreated control plants. Soil drench treatments had more effect then foliar sprays, only the 2 highest doses gave significant results. The soil drench treatment of a dose of 0.75 mL/L gave the best result, see results in parentheses.
