Stymbion treated potted rose had a no significant slight increase in stomatal conductance, a significant decrease in wilting degree, no difference in plant length growth, a no significant increase in flowering degree, before, during and just after the periodic drought stress and had no difference in plant height, a no significant decrease in fresh weight and no difference in root development score one month after recovery from periodic drought compared to the untreated stress control.
