Sunred treated Orange, cv. Valencia, grown in optimal conditions had a 6.9 % lower yield, 13.6 % less fruits/tree, a 4.3 % higher fruit weight, 1.7 % more juice yield, the same amount of total soluble solids, 8.2 % less titratible acids and a higher peel color uniformity (= advanced ripening) compared to the untreated control plants
