Example, to search for all recorded cases of biostimulant use on tomato mitigate effects of drought type: "tomato, drought"

Super Fifty

Type: Seaweed extract, Company: BioAtlantis

Effect

Increased other

SuperFifty treated pepper, cv. Kurtovska kapiya-1, subjected to oxidative stress by the application of Paraquat (PQ), showed significantly decreased damaged leaf area, decreased ion leakage, decreased DAB stained area (-14%), increased maximum quantum yield (+8.3%), increased fluorescence decrease ratio (+31.5%) and a more similar metabolic and phenotypic profile to unstressed plants, including reduced accumulation of free amino acids and stress metabolites, compared to untreated PQ stressed plants. SuperFifty treated pepper, cv. Kurtovska kapiya-1, not subjected to oxidative stress, showed decreased damaged leaf area, decreased ion leakage, no difference in DAB stained area, no difference in maximum quantum yield, no difference in fluorescence decrease ratio and a similar metabolic and phenotypic compared to untreated non-stressed plants.

Trial details
Indoor, protected, growth-room with controlled environmental conditions (22-25°C; 50-60 RH%, 16/8 light/dark, 170 µmol/m2.s), soil grown in pots (peat:agro-perlite 2.5:1), induced oxidative stress 24h after treatment with SuperFifty
