Increased cold stress tolerance

Terra-Sorb treated Maize, cv. Kneza 307, grown in cold stress conditions had a 25.2 % lower total antioxidant activity in leaves and roots, a 53.9 % lower anthocyanin content in leaves, a 19.4 % lower polyphenol content in leaves and roots and a 31.8 % lower guaiacol content in leaves and roots and had so a reduced effect of the cold stress treatments compared to the untreated control grown in the same conditions.
