Trainer treated Tomato, cv. Sir Elyan, grown in a greenhouse had a 30 % higher early yield and a 7 % higher marketable yield with no heavier fruits but with 6.6 % more fruits/plant. The fruits had 14.3 % more total soluble solids, 13.5 % more K and 8.8 % more Mg, but didn't have significant more dry matter (-1.7%), no significant higher pH (+1.8%), no significant more total phenolics (+6.6%), total ascorbic acid (+12.3%), Ca (+4.7%), N (+6.8%), P (-1.5%), S (+7.4%) or Na (+15.9%) as compared to the untreated control.
