Birgah, grown in open field conditions had a significant higher plant height 40 days after transplanting, significant more leaves 40 days after transplanting, a significant higher total yield (+15.8%), a significant higher marketable yield (+21.2%), a significant higher average marketable fruit weight (+15.2%), no difference in number of marketable fruits, significant less discarded production (-24.5%), no difference in fruit dry matter, significant less firm (-6.6%), no difference in SSC (°Brix), in chlorogenic acid, significant less glycoalkaloids (-20%), significant more total anthocyanins, significant less proteins (-10.1%), no difference in P content, significant more K content (+6.5%), no differences in Ca and Mg content, a significant higher nutrient use efficiency (+16.7%) compared to the untreated control grown in the same conditions,
