Effect
Increased produce quality
Trainer treated baby Lettuce, cv. Zarina, grown under different N rates had on average a significant higher yield (exception for 20 N), a significant higher LAI, a 0.7 % lower specific leaf weight, leaves had a 16.4 % significant higher succulence and contained 4.1 % more nitrates, 12.8 % significant more chlorophyll and 11.6 % more carotenoids compared to the untreated control. There wasn't an interaction effect between the biostimulant and the N rate for all the leaf parameters.
