Trainer treated cuttings of Tomato, cv. Marmande, grown for 8 days in perlite had 21.1 % more shoot dry weight, 34.8 % more root dry weight, 24.1 % longer roots, a 26 % bigger root surface and a 2.8 % bigger mean root diameter (ns) compared to the untreated control.
