Effect
Vitact R treated Peace Lily, cv. Alfetta/Lima, grown in a peat-based substrate was after 3 repeated drought stress cycles on average 5.2 % shorter and had on average 1.3 % more narrow leaves, 3.1 % shorter leaves, 15.9 % less fresh weight, 9.5 % less dry weight and 8.5 % more root development, during drought stress no significant effect on the stomatal conductance compared to the untreated control grown in the same drought stress conditions. The effect was negative significant on the plant height, leaf length, fresh weigt and dry weight of cv. Lima. The effect on the total chlorophyll content and the content of total phenolics varied between the different drought cycles and cultivars; Vitact increased the total chlorophyll content and the total phenolics content of cv. Lima during stress compared to the untreated control.
