Example, to search for all recorded cases of biostimulant use on tomato mitigate effects of drought type: "tomato, drought"

VIVEMA TWIN

Type: Mix of different types, Company: Green Has Italia

Effect

Increased salt stress tolerance

VIVEMA TWIN treated tomato, under normal growing conditions showed more developed root architecture, no significant difference in number of roots, no difference in root length, no difference in root fresh weight and increased NDVI index, 8 days after the beginning of the treatment, and showed no significant difference in root length, no differece in root fresh weight and significant increase in NDVI index 4 weeks after the beginning of the treatmentcompared to untreated control plants. VIVEMA TWIN treated tomato grown under salt stress (100 mM NaCl) showed more developed root architecture, no significant difference in number of roots, increased root length and increased root fresh weight, 8 days after the beginning of the treatment, and showed no significant difference in root length, no difference in root fresh weight and increased NDVI index, 4 weeks after the beginning of the treatment, compared to untreated control plants. VIVEMA TWIN treated tomato grown under salt stress (200 mM NaCl) showed more developed root architecture, significantly increased number of roots, increased root length, increased root fresh weight, 8 days after the beginning of the treatment, compared to untreated control plants. VIVEMA TWIN caused significant changes in gene expression, the biostimulant application resulted in upregulation of 285 genes (most correlated to root development and salt stress tolerance and downregulation of 171 genes (mainly involved in nutrient uptake), compared to untreated control plants.
